I didn't blam this

the drawings were above the blam-mark for me... but the only thing that got it from a 1 to a 2 was the troma reference... Troma is generally disgusting, campy, cheesy and violent... but they have it down to an art form that can't be denied... This however could potentially be denied... I recommend a little more work on the humor aspect and a little less gore (troma gets away with it because of their oddities and humor)

technical - your drawing style is cool.. I like it very much, but if you're going to color then try to clean up the white spaces. Unlike the scratchy lines the white spaces don't add to the cool drawing style. Also... dude... your sound is horrible... if you're going to burn in hell for anything it'll be the sound quality. If you can't fix your sound (check the windows sound panel and play with all options to try to fix it) then maybe introduce a static kind of sound through the whole thing to cover it up...

I liked it :)

My one criticism would be... I hate spoon-fed jokes, but the "ashley's mouth gag" could use a bit more explanation... at first I thought you made a mistake in your flash... but on the second one I realized this was meant to be a joke... perhaps if I knew who she was or gave a shit about pop-culture I might understand but I don't and I don't so the joke was lost on me :(

the rest was great though :) I liked it.

I really liked the way you set up "newgrounds city" with all the "corporate towers" as the newgrounds stars... that was great! and the "Flash creating Wade" artwork was great too!

People have to stop and think before they complain about this as an attack on newgrounds though... (I'm assuming here, I haven't read any reviews except the one previous to mine)... this is like saying "if you don't like the American government then get out"... pretty redneck line of though if you ask me... but nobody did... and I said it anyway... er...

Great job anyway. Wish it was longer though.

that was great!! I love the oldschool sci-fi style and this totally did it justice! Nice cameo by shaggy at the end too. :)

I have two complaints, one minor and one major. The major one is Fred's sudden headwarp as he was walking to the purple blob. If it was intentional it didn't appear that way... looked like a broken tween or something. The minor one (depending on your perspective), I wish we could have followed the chain of events further. It went from pig-boy eating the alien and him exploding, John the Baptist running off with pig-boy's skull, gets his face mashed and the skull lands at the feet of Shaggy... what's next? This was a fun flash :)

overall, the best thing I thought was that the stars of our episode were tackled by some crazy old-school rpg gamers... but the stars (the monsters) had no idea what was going on... :)

I agree with the last reviewer...

judging by your voice acting and the disturbing believability of the first person text I think you're a tad young... When you're starting out you need positive influences, we learn by copying. The Firth influence here was obvious, like a signboard, but at the same time it wasn't a pretentious "I want to be D. Firth" kind of similarity, it was an honest "I'm impressed and inspired" similarity.

Overall you did a very good job I think. I liked the voices and the animation. If I were to give you any advice (other than the ever-present and ever-important "make more") I would have to say try to write less in first person. It's better for your audience and much much better for your health.

flash was okay....

flash was okay but once I figured out that you made your own video (as opposed to using someone else's song) I focused mostly on the rap and not the flash...

For sound you get an 8 because you got the rhythm and you can certainly flow... but for style you get a 3 cuz quite frankly... gibberjabber... I was a huge Ice-T fan also, he was one of my key teen influences, but all Ice-T did was talk shit about how it's cool to be a gangster... he was full of shit. Public Enemy approached issues (and Chuck D still does today), they were political, they were aware of social issues and had a higher morality than what religion, government or education feeds to us.

This is where you're lacking... "I'm so cool" hip-hop has got to go, it's as useless as "I'm so horny" disco. Coolness becomes a fad, intelligence becomes immortal.
