this was pretty cool
I liked it... :) I would love to see more of Mr. Bastard (is it Rick or Rich?) but I hope the next episode is a little bit longer.

lmao
That was awesome!!!
Like your characters in their dilemma though I felt this flash had a weak ending... But minus the sudden and anti-climactic ending this was an excellent job!
sorry...
I have to agree with the previous reviewer... but this is meant for TV and I believe most networks have a maximum quality cap... or at least it appears that way from watching TV.
Of course it might help if you state the age demographic you're aiming for since that would affect how we would rate it. I would never watch this show on TV (compared to The Tick or The Simpsons which I would never miss if opportunity was there), but if I could be sure this were aimed at under-10 then I would have given you an extra 1 or 2 on the overall score (and maybe a few extra on the humor score also).
pretty clever
That was fun to watch... the interplay between the characters was amusing and the drawings were great!
The only downside to this is the fact that the music ended before the final round... I recommend for the 3rd contest to have a stream for each round instead... then you could also increase the intensity of the music for each round as well.
great work but...
I think that you're riding the gravy train too far. Magical Trevor 1 was fantastic (so was the original badgerbadger, breadfish and kenya to point out just a few weebl's masterpieces) but it just doesn't do it for me anymore.
Your first strength is definately in the songs... the breadfish piece was really just a super-short animation loop with a short song but it's one of my favorites for the bizarreness and the cool singing. Just last night I had someone link me to the poo n wee song and it too was great.
Your second strength is in oddities... surprises because you just don't think... normally... please believe me when I say that's one of the best qualities anyone could possess.
Overall I couldn't be entertained by Trevor because (kick me in the teeth for using a tired cliche) I've been there and seen it...
absolute genius
WHERE ARE THE MUSIC CREDITS??? who is the genius that wrote an entire Dylan song worth of palindromes??? That was pretty incredible. The animation itself was just the supporting actor here, but I enjoyed it greatly.
Tell us, was it weird Al? (it's quite rude to use someone's song without crediting them, especially when the song is 75% of the flash)
not so bad
the previous review was a bit harsh...
some very important advice for you:
1-watch your flash before submitting it... look for places where text is cut off or not readable
2-make voices... even bad voices are better than no sound at all
3-expand the story and characters more
4-stop writing "1" in subtitles... use "one" instead.
5-for the love of god, get away from the anime, the stuff dilutes creativity and finally kills it in favor of "excellence of reproduction" I'm not referring to your drawing style so much as I am the poorly written story, the Japanese names (you're not japanese) and especially the use of Japanese in the movie... Sensei is teacher, say teacher instead... saying sensei is trying to be "cool" like anime and it just won't work. Katana works for katana because it's a type of sword (also sai, shuriken, etc) but sensei is just a normal word that means teacher...
6- (part of #5) read short stories and/or novels... devour them... be better than them
thank u for this commment, it's helpful a lot better then the last ONE.;p
About the text cut-off, Ireally don't kno how to fix it, It fits when Im in flash, but when checking the movie it's cut off, I make it smaller, same problem. :S
About using sensei, I've done karate in the Netherlands and we had to call our 'teacher', sensei and so I'll keep doing that and I don't think it's wrong.
Ill go further into the story in part 2, as planned.
you're walking a fine line
you're standing on the edge of a divide my friend... a film like this could go either horribly horribly wrong or become a masterpiece... compare the rather well done and clever "Constantine" with the horrible abomination that was "Dracula 2000"... or even "Crow" with "Crow 2"...
Your intro has me hooked, but I hope that you have already written the basic main points of your whole story and I also hope that you don't make it into a simple action packed gore flick with lots of pretty drawings...
I'll be waiting eagerly for act 2 :) well done
not bad
not worth a blam but not quite a fiver... I think it would have been more fitting if it were budweiser though...
