meh

I know it's useless to make a statement like this on a portal entry... but you need a point.

and I don't really see any connection to D.Firth... graphics, animation, sound, voices, cinematic direction... not similar. About the only similarity is somebody commiting terrible acts as if they were normal everyday things, but salad fingers (among other characters) commits these acts out of a sense of sheltered childhood innocence as opposed to these acts being general daily activities.

good job

I'd like to see something a bit longer. Perhaps you could do a series in reverse of him getting to the dragon :) For example your next one could be a short of him getting to the top of the mountain into the cave passage.

not bad

actually it was pretty damn good for a clock movie. I was a bit disturbed to see someone riding THREE flash bandwagons all in one flash, but it's a pretty good point you made. And I loved the dancing water drop as New Orleans gets flooded.

WinchesterLock responds:

heh, thanks, although it is actually a Lock movie ;P

and if Water's ego keeps swelling the whole world will flood :(

:/

It seems that Foamy has earned a true place in our pantheon of heros... Despite many Foamy anti-fans making parodies of him, he's starting to gather as much "fan-flashes" as an anime or game might have... kudos to our favorite squirrel... as the below guy said, this could have been done with any character... could have been done with a log. Might have been funnier actually, a log setting up a date by MSN.

As for the flash itself... kind of lame and predictable, but it was cool that you gave a subtle tip of the hat to knox... would have been nicer if it was in context though (the 50 ft. cock?)

Frankiedaman responds:

This is quite a half-half review. And no, a log setting up an internet date on MSN would just be odd =\

Glad you liked the movie posters, they could be coming to a cinema near YOU! *points*

good job

This is good, especially for a first flash (or a first entry). I recommend using a fade in, fade out filter for your voice clips, it's too obvious where they come in and come out. Other than that, very nice job. :) Hope to see more.

lol

you're retarded... and for this, you rock! :) Funny stuff. The only critique I can make is on the hero's voice... I know that Heston wasn't the best actor, but the voice for our hero shouldn't be so... read. Everyone else's voice was cool. And I liked that it was the M.Falcon that crashed into the water and not the planet of the apes ship. (I also think that those who are familiar with the original planet of the apes will find this funnier, because of a few similarities in the line)

I like the "I tripped" part :) unexpected funniness, but it didn't explain so well how they got captured.

Good job :)

decent, but front page?

Good flash... the humor (the focus of the flash) was... okay... Your animation and drawings were great though.

The dancing was the best!

This was fantastic (Shiva's sound effect was way too loud though)... There were so many great parts, Mario and Bowzer "lol", Megaman "I'm okay", the dancing Kombatants were the best though.

Nice flash :)

sweet!!!

your style rocks...

It's funny that you took 3 celebrities and put them in a fight scene, you copied the voices quite well (Bush particularly... don't know the dick's voice).

As was mentioned, the dick's continous "ouch" gets annoying.

I think it's quite crucial to say this: There was no political statement made in this movie... There was no opinion stated on Bush's stands on certain topics, his actions, government policies... nothing. The only thing this had was two celebrities fighting (a two very brief references to Bush's religion and one very brief reference to his southern origins).

Yet because it puts the president in a comical situation it's automatically labelled satire. It's not satire. Yet still it earned 30+ pages of anti-Bush comments, anti-anti-Bush comments, insults to the flasher who made it... somehow the word "liberal" (ie. free) seems to be an insult when used by... whatever the alternative is... slaves I guess. I hope that everyone watches this just admires that it's poking fun at a celebrity. Though I share no love for ol' Dubya, it could have been just as funny if it were making fun of Mahatma Ghandi... a man you'd have to be an absolute jellyhead not to respect.

THERE IS NO POLITICAL STATEMENT IN THIS FLASH!

well done. :) very funny :)
