[Herbert and the Mountain]

nice :)

I think the last scene was great, it seemed to me to be the point of the whole flash. Although, the beginning scene seemed out of place. The second scene (the social monster) had a point, a sort of plot and a conclusion, so did the final scene commentary, but the first scene didn't match with either of the other two. Still nice though :)

You have become an icon on Newgrounds. This movie (as all the others I've seen of yours) is an excellent piece of work, and your already cool style seems to have evolved and grown too (from back when you started the Salad Fingers series).

Your drawing and your animation styles are extremely sweet. The story isn't bad either, but the style and the voice acting seems to be aimed at quite a young audience. Perhaps it's just my taste though.

the was a great flash, but man you gotta do something about the sound quality. The sound wasn't "bad" but compared to the animation and script it just dragged it down. I'm not referreing to the "burst into flames theme" that was cool, but the voices were a bit loud and seemed to clip in and out of the animation as opposed to being part of it.

[Pope Vs Jesus]

what the hell's the point?

the idea of Jesus and the pope fighting could be funny, but there was no point... why were they fighting? It's just a poorly done action sequence with somebody "called" jesus and somebody "dressed like" a cleric... reference South Park's Jesus vs. Santa. This short cartoon actually had wit and humor, it had an underlying motive (Santa stole christmas from Jesus) and it had a very subtle message (they're both fantasy characters).

This had nothing. The drawing and animation style can be worked around but you need better writing dude. You need to research good flashes and compete against them, outdo them.

[The First Wave]

pretty cool but...

first, like others I'm sure have said (can't read reviews yet) it's a bit slow paced for a war piece. The sound effects were a bit... canned... well, only the bomb effects really.

second. One thing that drives me nuts in flashes is when half of the design is like art and the other half is thrown together crap. I see in most flashes, and in this one, excellently drawn guns and vehicles, then shoddily thrown together buildings and people. The people in your flash were good, but the buildings deserve just as much attention as the planes, despite the low screen time. Look at how smooth the soldiers at the radar station were, and they got only a few seconds. This is why I gave you 8 for graphics (the planes and people) but a 2 for style (you had no solid style, but a mix of styles).

Good job and I hope you make the conclusion since I'm too lazy to google it and find out what happened ;)

Well, I would have thought of several themes, but this was as close as i can get. I like your comment on the airplanes though.

I'm not fond of Weebl and Bob, but in a huge Weebl fan when it comes to everything else you do. The toy advert was great, I recommend expanding it and using it on its own as a seperate flash...

Knox is a good influence but try to make your flashes noticeably different both in character style and in voice style... Knox's flashes work (usually) because of the timing and the dry humor... that being said mostly what you were missing was the timing and humor. Try adding a story to it (more than the cereal loop) and slow down the events a bit so it's easier to follow. Remember that what seems clear to you having made it might not be clear to someone watching it for the first time.
