[The Sleep Sheep]

very sweet story

although at first I was put off by the way overused "black sheep" cliche, it turned out very nice. I was willing to overlook this because it's a kids story/flash and kids stories need conventions. Very good :)

This movie could have gotten the five (unlike most of our audiences I don't require tits or blood to be impressed or to hold my attention) but the constant bugs bunny/tom and jerry sound effects nearly caused me to throw my lunch... These sound effects are the equivilent of canned laughter and as such should only be used to take a poke at the convention itself.

All in all, I foured you. It actually was a great piece of flash, but the sounds were not only following a boring convention but they were following a boring convention of the 80's child-cartoon scene. Drop the sound effects (they don't add humor, they are just neon "applaud" signs) on the next project and I'll even watch in my birthday suit... just for you... :D

The flash matches the song well... no comments to make regarding the animation or drawing style, too sweet for critique. Thank you also for the subtitles, even though the feel of the song and the words appearing in the flash itself would have done, it was better to be able to read the song words.

you were right about the technical prowess part :)

I think the previous reviewer misunderstood, this wasn't an attack on capitalism, it was an attack on embezzlers and those who "hijack the plane".

Good job, but I disagree with the message. A corporation has all the same rights as an individual and a corporation doesn't change when it changes CEO's. Thus when something like Enron happens, the whole company should be disbanded by federal/international law and forbidden from restarting for a set number of years (jail time).

[Man VS Stick Round One]

I loved it!!!

I hate stick flashes... and to see a human thrashing a stick figure does me good in so many ways. Right off the top, it's nice to see a stick being taken down by something real... but also you attack more than just a stick figure in this flash. You attack the mentality it takes to think that a stick flash is good. You've done a smoothly animated stick flash, but not only that you've synced it up near perfectly (the only flaw I could see was with the back-breaker at the end) with a human character.

The revolution of sticks is at an end!! Long live the human mind!

very good, looking forward to episode 2:

graphics - work on your characters. All of your settings are pretty nice though, also, don't tween when someone turns around just flip the picture in 2 frames instead, it'll look nicer.

style - I have to side with the last reviewer on this. Poop and farts on their own are never funny. Although I did like the whole playout of him not being able to poop and being sent to the doctor... but don't focus on it for your next flashes. Humor is all about context and breaking context.

sound - the intro was horrid, but your voice acting was all great!

violence/interactivity - n/a

humor - the blue guy was pretty funny, and the interplay between the characters was pretty funny. I think it might be better though to make the gags shorter (set it up as fast or slow as you like, but do a quick knock down then move on).

overall - as the previous reviewer said, I can tell that you're quite young, maybe 13-16. If you're over 16 you really have to work a lot harder. If you're under 13 you're a prodigy... if I guessed your age right then you're on the right path and I look forward to seeing drug-street pt. 2 :)

this has been done before... and despite the previous one having had superb graphics, this has a much nicer feel to it. :) I hope that you can continue the analogy and bring "OUR" flash to great heights :) Might I suggest (if you plan on going this way) saving the Front Page for the very end?

I'm looking forward to the next installment :)

criticisms:
graphics - a little sloppy but far from bad. I liked it, animations too were pretty good.
sound - the songs you used were good choices but I suggest a fade in/out... it always sounds bad when an audio clip just stops flat.

other---- keep making more :) good job

I hate this kind of music too, but it suited the flash very nicely. This is great. One of the greatest tools of modern literature is screwing with contexts and you've done it quite well... though I wish it was longer (not longer than a year, but perhaps 2 or 3 other segments during that year)
